But it will also be a hit for “new school” breeders who like extravagant scent and flavor profiles. By crossing with American Mimosa (Clementine x Purple Punch), our geneticists were able to improve the quality of the buds and further stabilize the variety.

Orange Bud 2.0 is therefore more compact, whiter and has a better flower-to-leaf ratio without sacrificing the unique orange terpene profile.

Orange Bud 2.0 is a new hybrid strain that is only available as a feminized cannabis seed. The plants have a slightly more compact and smaller structure compared to the classic Orange Bud. They also develop beautiful, compact, hard buds and are beautiful to look at.

You can still achieve high yields with this, just slightly lower than with the original. In our opinion, the quality makes it all better and in this case “quality over quantity” certainly applies. Orange Bud 2.0 is a strain that produces buds of absolute premium quality.

Orange Bud 2.0 doesn't grow very large, it is a little more indica dominated than the original. If you're growing them naturally without any cultivation methods, a height of around 75-100cm (2.5-3 feet) is typical - depending on the pot size and light type/wattage. In the hands of good breeders and a longer pre-growth phase, the height is around 100 cm to a maximum of 150 cm (~3 feet - 5 feet), but it doesn't get much taller.

Due to the stronger indica-dominant hybrid genes, this cross is slightly more compact in stature and has less stretch than the original Orange Bud.

Outdoor cultivation is possible around mid-October in a temperate climate in the northern hemisphere. You want to make sure the area is protected from rain and well ventilated - the buds become so compact that they cannot tolerate excessive rain, fog or humidity.

For most northern European (or similar) climates, this means that it is best Complete flowering indoors (with controlled humidity) in the last few weeks for optimal results.

It grows well in a sunny and dry climate and you will be amazed by the potential of this strain! She likes organic soil and coconut fiber best. However, it can also be grown hydroponically, which allows you to shorten the overall growing time by one to two weeks.

Orange Bud 2.0 is a plant with a unique appearance. Some plants develop colorful and sometimes even dark hues on the leaves and around the buds. This is most visible when growing outdoors. The contrast created with the bright white buds gives the flowers an exotic look.

This is a strain that is easy to understand. It prefers good organic soil and tolerates some nutrients. Additionally, it is a good strain for manipulating, topping (or fiming), and during the vegetative growth phase it is best to lollypop and defoliate several times.

When growing outdoors, it is recommended to top the plants to create an even bushier plant with the main central flower splitting into several smaller flowers. This is particularly important in slightly more temperate climates. Repeated topping can then be a solution to reduce the risk of bud rot and mold.

Therefore, it is best to grow them in containers so that you can move the plants around in bad weather. Orange Bud 2.0 is not really an ideal strain for outdoor cultivation. For the highest yield when growing indoors, we recommend the SOG method.

For a few weeks of growth, pots with an average capacity of 7 to 11 liters are suitable. You'll want to make sure you have a good carbon filtration system as this strain has a strong smell, especially in late bloom!
