Auto Duck can be grown both outdoors and indoors, she also does well in greenhouses and polytunnels. Indoors with 20 hours of light per day, it takes around 11-12 weeks to reach full maturity. In the field or in a greenhouse, Auto Duck requires approximately 13 weeks from seed to harvest.

In the Mediterranean region it can complete 3 consecutive growth cycles per season. Even growers in Scandinavia can complete at least 1, sometimes even 2 autoflower cycles within an outdoor season.

This variety generally produces average yields. The plants often remain smaller and more compact in growth. In the hands of an expert and with sufficient light, large yields are also possible. Normally the yield per plant is between 50g and a maximum of 100g per plant.

Outdoor yields average between 25-75g per plant. Indoors it can achieve an average yield of 400-450g per m2. It works particularly well in a SOG setup with several plants per m2.
