When we took a premium photoperiod cutting from Cookies & Crossing Cream (Starfighter x Girl Scout Cookie) with one of our frostiest autoflowers, the result exceeded all expectations! The genetic background of this strain comes from a Starfighter (Tahoe OG x Lemon Alien Dawg) crossed with a Mystery Cookies mother (Girl Scout Cookie). These premium American genetics were produced and crossed by several breeders in the USA.

From our gene bank we were looking for a very potent and frosty autoflower that is suitable for hybridization. Our car trichomes & Cream is an easy to grow autoflowering strain. It is a vigorous strain with medium to large buds. The flowers grow long and have a more open/hybrid structure. Certainly not fluffy, but not super compact either.

The variety itself is medium-sized; and forms strong branches that can support a certain amount of weight. This means they don't bend so easily under their own weight. Towards the end of flowering, support may be desirable, but is certainly not always necessary. This is an autoflower strain that is guaranteed to be strong, and it looks it too!

Auto Trichomes & Cream seeds produce stable plants with a high level of growth. of consistency. The THC content is around 20%. Under optimal conditions it is possible to grow plants with more than 20%.

However, for most (inexperienced) growers, the THC content is between 16 and 20%. Professional growers with high quality LED bulbs (and possibly UVA/UVB bulbs) can surpass this.

Auto Trichomes & Cream has an average flowering time of around 10 weeks. This applies to most plants when typically grown using a 20/4 or 24/0 cannabis light cycle. Some larger phenotypes may take slightly longer, up to around 80-84 days, to fully mature. This also applies to plants that grow under suboptimal conditions.

This Dutch Passion Autoflower can be grown both indoors and outdoors. The plants usually grow to a height of around 70-100 cm. Outdoors, it grows best in warm, dry areas.

But it also thrives in more temperate climates as long as the three hottest and driest summer months are chosen for the growth cycle. To achieve the highest yield outdoors, growing indoors for a maximum of 2 weeks with a 20/4 or 24/0 light schedule is recommended.

This is an ideal cannabis strain for growing on a balcony or terrace where there is plenty of sun and it can grow well. Cooler blooming conditions can produce beautiful blue and purple hues both outdoors and indoors. This gives the very white buds an even more beautiful and unique look!

The yield of Auto Trichome and Cream

Auto Trichomes & Cream is known for producing a large harvest. This has XL potential under the right conditions. Even for beginners, it's not too difficult to achieve a good yield.

It grows vigorously and develops strong branches. An average yield of around 0.75-1g/watt is therefore quite possible. For experts, the yields will be much higher and can exceed 2g/watt.

Indoors, depending on the wattage of the grow light and the climate, you can achieve around 400-500 g/m². Organic farming is recommended, among other things, for the improved taste of the final product.

Outdoors, depending on the number of hours of sunshine and the average temperature, you can harvest around 75g per plant. Of course, under the right circumstances, much more is possible.

Tips from our experts

Auto Trichomes & Cream is a gourmet quality cannabis strain that is very popular among many autoflower growers thanks to its unique appearance combined with excellent flavor profile and effects. Our best growing tip is to place them in their final container as soon as possible, preferably directly after germination.

Preferably an Air Pot or Smart Pot with a minimum size of 10-15L for indoor grow and 15-30L for outdoor grow. To realize the XL potential of this strain, a cannabis light cycle of 20/4 throughout the cycle or even 24/0 for the first few weeks is recommended. Topping is possible but usually not necessary. If you want to control the size a little, we recommend pruning it after about 4/5 weeks. FIMing would be better because it allows you to produce more main flowers while keeping the original main flower intact.

At Dutch Passion we like to grow this strain naturally and just let it do its own thing. Frequent leaf removal or lollipopping is not essential. Let nature take its course and you will be amazed by the results!
